According to the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, the industry control chain can be divided into raw materials, copper clad laminates, printed circuit boards, electronic product applications, etc. the relationship is as follows:

Glass fiber cloth(industry control PCB): glass fiber cloth is one of the raw materials of copper clad laminate. It is woven from glass fiber yarn, accounting for about 40% (thick plate) or 25% (thin plate) of the cost of copper clad laminate. Glass fiber yarn is calcined into liquid from silica sand and other raw materials in the kiln, pulled into very fine glass fiber through a very small alloy nozzle, and then hundreds of glass fibers are twisted into glass fiber yarn. The construction investment of kiln is huge, which generally needs hundreds of millions of funds, and once ignited, it must be produced continuously for 24 hours, and the cost of entry and exit is huge.

Copper foil(industry control PCB): copper foil is the raw material with the largest proportion in the cost of copper clad laminate, accounting for about 30% (thick plate) or 50% (thin plate) of the cost of copper clad laminate. Therefore, the price rise of copper is the main driving force for the price rise of copper clad laminate.

Copper clad laminate(industry control PCB): copper clad laminate is the product of pressing glass fiber cloth and copper foil together with epoxy resin as fusion agent. It is the direct raw material of printed circuit board. It is made into printed circuit board after etching, electroplating and multi-layer board pressing.
